Frozen potatoes account for over 50% of total US potato exports. The USPB is dedicated to maintaining and growing international market share for US potatoes. The International Frozen Program focuses on fries but also markets the abundanceof frozen product varieties available from US frozen processors. This approach spurs new growth opportunities for US potatoes by increasing usage of and creating new channels for US frozen potatoes.
The following strategies achieve the overall goal of expanding market penetration for US frozen potato products:
