Domestic Marketing

Over the past six years, the domestic retail, chip, and research and evaluation programs have undergone significant changes, enhancing both their relevance and importance to both growers and to the industry.  This was accomplished by an increased focus on targeted activities and through heightened grower/leader committee involvement.

Emphasis is placed on education and training for grower/shippers to improve their ability to deal with a changing consumer and retail environment.  Additionally, new products, alternate uses for chipping potatoes and application studies for dehy will all play an important role in bringing innovation to the forefront of the industry.  Communications will be ramped-up with emphasis not only on the results of the programs, research and information, but more importantly, on how to implement them to enhance your businesses.
