Introducing the New USPB Consumer Website
DENVER (January 28, 2008)—A new United States Potato Board (USPB) website, www.potatogoodness.com, joined the Board’s online cache of resources championing the goodness and nutrition found in America’s favorite vegetable. This consumer website went live January 17, 2008.
“We're very excited to bring consumers this new USPB website,” said Meredith Myers, USPB Public Relations Manager. It was created with the new “Potatoes...Goodness Unearthed™” campaign signature as a design driver.”
In this new website, the USPB serves up a healthy plateful of nutrition information, recipes, cooking videos, research—just about anything consumers need to love potatoes and more. It features topics falling under headlines like “Breaking Potato News” and “The Healthy Potato.”
So, what was once www.healthypotato.com has been changed to www.potatogoodness.com. Visitors who link to www.healthypotato.com will be re-directed automatically.
The potato industry is encouraged to reference this site and use it as an additional marketing tool to build momentum behind the new industry nutrition campaign signature. Please replace the old website with www.potatogoodness.com and direct your consumer oriented potato questions to this new resource.
